Berberland at Givenchy

More coverage from PFW. Ricardo Tisci's Fall couture collection is without a doubt inspired by Berbers in North Africa. I'm loving the tribal accessories, and the embroidery.

To far away lands with no boundaries to creativity!

R as in Recession

This is a bittersweet post for me...Sweet because it's my first post since I've been back from vacation...Bitter, because Christian Lacroix held what is expected to be his last fashion show at PFW, since the group who owned the French fashion house dropped it from its portfolio! With only 12 employees left, and limited financial resources, Lacroix still produced a breathtaking collection! I pulled out some of my favorite look below.

To Christian Lacroix!

Oh Givenchy...

Fellow fashion addicts...I have your fix of Parisian fashions. Givenchy Spring 09Couture is absolutely amazing. The collection is very architectural and the use of pastel colors adds softness to the designs. On a completely different note.I'm in love with the runway (those flower petals are to die for).

Here are my favorite looks and yes I would wear every single one of them!
