McQueen for Target

According to WWD, British designer Alexander McQueen will design a version of his McQ collection for Target, the collection is due to hit stores in March 2009. This is part of a new initiative launched by Target appropriately entitled "Designer collaboration". It is important to note that this is different than the Target GO International program, which focuses on smaller emerging designers. I wonder what other designers will jump on board! Talk about the democratization of fashion!
